Coaco by zum
The building is generated as the features of a hand in the sand. The new thing tries to find his space in an existing context exploring the possibility of containing and of unifying the set. The adequacy to the environment happens for contrast. The impossibility of construction in the plot of the small palace imposes the form of the new volume, creating a permanent tension between past and present.
There are supported the hierarchies and the elements that constitute the memory of the previous interventions, of form to which there are recognizable the different options that have been taken across the time. The character of the object is anticipated in his changes and additions always staying a mark as testimony of it was already this building.
