Within the Cornellà Business Park, marketed through the World Trade Center, we should propose architectural options in line with the functional logic already examined and felt by the possession, in regards to the planned urban concepts. We needed to propose options for two kinds of situations: the standard structures, following a roads, and also the corner building.
Our plans are targeted essentially in the following questions:
FLOOR TYPE
A built band having a 16-metre span around a courtyard. The steps and lifts as elements put into the dwelling to avoid its impact. The logic from the floor enables great operative versatility with spaces for leasing of a big number of dimensions having a minimal repercussion around the common elements. The halls on the ground have sun light and particular attention is compensated for their finishes.
THE COURTYARD
This is actually the central element or our proposal. On one side it’s the representational part of the building that provides another tone. It’s also an area with specific energy needs. We goal to base our plans around the traditional Mediterranean models present and operative within our culture. The road structures, having a single access in the garden, and also the courtyard developing a part of an intricate, articulated sequence of elements. An initial area, the atrium, welcomes us. Having a height of three flooring and conditioned with natural materials (wood) it houses the control, concierge and directory. Connected straight to the primary courtyard, part one which is difficult, paved sandstone and guarded in the rain, and open within the final section, in which a Mediterranean garden with local plant life finishes from the perspective. This part remains safe and secure in the sun and enables natural ventilation while producing a microclimate conditioned naturally, ready for our warm climate.
