Villa VH in T by Beel & Achtergael Architecten

The client wanted a house where he could relax with the necessary intimacy between his family and friends, while enjoying its extensive art collection. The place where the house, in a mixed residential and very close to an industrial street in the company offices. While the overall environment in the back of the agricultural parcel offers a very calm perspective, there is a considerable traffic in front.

This project has attempted to create a “small world” by organizing all the rooms on the ground floor U-shaped (about outdoor patio). Inside, a continuous glass wall opens very wide circulation, along with the living room “core of the project.” Designed to make life easier, here is where guests are invited to enjoy the light, space and art.

Outside, the building’s walls are mostly closed. The first floor is used for business, as also is a recreational place, in conclusion, is a house of very modest volume, office and media room give shape to the silhouette of the house, its large windows capture the northern light and allows direct connection of their immediate environment.
