The homeowner is a graphic designer for a cigarette company in Surabaya. The architects chose to incorporate some of these visual ideas in home design. The interior is focused on the family. The core is the heart of family activities, to visually separate public spaces, providing more privacy for the family.
The owners wanted to incorporate a tropical concept in the design of this house. These ideas can be seen in the shape of the roof, which reflects a form of “sand bank” and the site location of the house. The location of housing within the plot, allows a constant wind flow that provides natural ventilation.
