The Cortland Residence built in 3 level, was design by Nicholas Clark Architects in Chicago , Illinois . There is strong connection between interior and visually protected exterior spaces, courtyard walls are defined by planes of glass, cedar and wood panels. In the main courtyard, water elements create a focus and patio space is positioned next to the family room which is able to expand to the exterior by opening a folding glass wall. In front of the house there is small modern garden, with a space to walk. Interior designed used a natural colour such as black, white and brown. It’s a modern small house is match with small family, parent and two children.
