Ström Nordique Spa by Chevalier Morales architectes

Chevalier Morales Architects has created this new version of place of relaxation for the mind and body, through a contemporary and sensitive design . Three separate buildings are placed gently on the artificial topography overlooking the Lac des Battures . The buildings are occupied by saunas , massage / relaxation , steam rooms and other spaces to make a fully functioning spa . Cloudy gray clay brick – a requirement for Nuns Island – and white wood , the buildings reflect tranquility and serenity. Elements such as strange sculptures , gargoyles and indoor furniture refers to all the pipes, which are hidden underground or in engine rooms , responsible for the magical experience offered by the spa. At night , the mix of neon lights , LED lights and flames of the torches light up the slightly surreal decor touched by pink and light blue colors .
