Project Concept

Among all renewable energies, the most efficient and unique ability to regenerate infinitely without causing any environmental damage is education. It is an inexhaustible supply of knowledge that is spread from person to person covering vast areas generating social progress, environmental and economic mainstream. Therefore Solar Park should be a global focus on developing the Green Education.

Therefore it is looking to build a park in which citizen participation and nature are the main building materials. Thus it is proposed that the highway A3 Salerno between Scilla and Bagnara Calabra becomes a research center and green education. Solar Park is a place that encourages people to play a key role in its construction, have the ability to transform, creating a public space intervention that belongs to each individual, which grows in relation to the appropriation that they do about it .

This is the attitude that best describes the Solar Park and intervention establishes three main goals to accomplish. First, we seek to establish a connection between Scilla and Bagnara Calabra as a transport circuit that simultaneously conform a nature reserve.

Secondly, it seeks to promote progress on the basis of civic education and the implementation of native vegetation and its reproduction as a major design strategies. Finally this old road is used as a catalyst for development in a much greater extent in renewable energy issues, new systems of mobility and economic development, among others.
