Home of Extravaganza Design on Homevaganza: Home of Extravaganza Design

This project was initiated by Paris hospitals group (AP-HP)With the aim of optimizing the development of the property in the city program (includes an area for companies). In this part of District 14 in Paris is disused quarry underground. The building has its bases on columns of 25 m. over galleries that have filled. The complex is located behind an existing building that has been partially reconstructed, near a highway and surrounded by other buildings interior. Share an underground parking lot of an adjacent building (thus avoids generating else).

The ground floor is a base, with capacity to do and have local business community. The apartments are set along this basis, the provision takes into account complex limits the restrictions on their neighbors. Here, architecture plays with volumes at different scales and the empty spaces through the different floors, have their openings, views and light.

The exposed concrete, rough, rocky or smooth is always present. This material allows a large set of volumes and contrasts with the second layer of windows, fittings and blinds (abstract).
