The project Skyline Nomad of D’Amico and Luca Luca Tesio, Was presented at the Skyscraper Competition Evolo 2011 final outcome the building is constructed through an exoskeleton and reused containers. Then the sheets submitted in the competition and the project report by the architects.

Globalization has become a significant number of citizens in “modern nomads” – people who settle for a few months or years in different cities around the world and then change back to town.

The skyscrapers of containers intended to provide a nomadic housing to this specific type of urban dweller. This is a reformulated containers exoskeleton with apartment units plug-in.

The main structure provides the basic infrastructure and recreational areas, while the residential units can be transported by ship, truck and rail to most major cities around the world giving a feeling of “home” for these modern urban nomads.

The structure consists of a dense grid of steel beams. Every 100 meters there will be platforms that, in addition to providing rigidity to the structure, generate a micro-city within the skyscraper, an indoor space and outdoor recreational and social activities.
