Roof Top Office Dudelange by dagli + atélier d’architecture
This extension on top of a building in the heart of Luxembourg was made to give more work to a major engineering firm, one of the largest in the country. Because the specialty of this office is to develop air-conditioning systems, heating and home automation in general, this extension is shown as a showroom that integrates all this technology.
The regulations required an adaptation of similar roof to the adjacent buildings which are of a mansard roof, however, the client wanted a flat roof. And the decision was taken by the architects was to combine both solutions and present it as a.
The colors on the façade create a game of degradation that follows the form and vice versa. Subtle intervention that seems to surround part of the attic space. The interior space includes certain games of the exterior, and the scale of colors and shapes and irregular enclosures.
