The simple house located in a village perched on a hill overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, Syria is in a difficult to reach, full of cherry trees and open views.
The master plan only allowed a small building to store up to 25 m2 agricultural tools and a 50m2 water well buried. The main space of this construction is done in this case in the living room and kitchen, and above it, building height permitted, one bedroom. Below, a studio, one bedroom and a bathroom, which occupy the space well. To enable lighting in these spaces in a basement, two large skylights allow light to enter during the day while on the surface at these, these skylights are converted into seats.
To simplify the distribution of such a small space, one of the side walls are thicker to accommodate the storage spaces, closets and fireplaces, leaving the rest of the space released.
Outside, the house intended to cause the least impact to the environment. We used local materials, following the system of building stone walls for the containment of stones on the terraces of the site.
