PSJ Building Plaza Sor Juana

Office AS / D shared with us your project PSJ Plaza Sor Juana, A mixed-use building designed to house shops and offices in an area of 900 m2, in the commercial corridor of Tlalnepantla, Mexico State. The building has two components: a transparent element-level access, which allows interaction between the interior and its context, and an element of solid and reflective appearance which houses the offices. The facade is organized vertically, giving opportunities to introduce natural light and ventilation.

The architectural program is organized into 3 levels: beginning in a basement parking lot lighting and ventilation enter achieved thanks to its high lunge on ground floor, and emphasizing graphics as part of building design. The main entrance serves as a connector between the main components, creating an ongoing dialogue between interior and exterior. The access floor shops concentrated around a double height space. The hosts range from 45 to 75 square meters, its scheme allows a number of configurations and maximizing internal and external fronts display.

The first level has room for 8 separate offices ranging from 45 to 135 square meters, each relying on independent privacy and access through a corridor and bridge projected onto the inner square. Also, double-height space is used to introduce natural light to interior walls. Its volume designed as a float element, gives the building a sober and strong in context.
