Praxis Dr. S by StadtLABOR.org
The basic idea of the draft is to not only perform the assigned job, but to create a redesign and enhancement. The dominant architectural element is the extension for the restrooms, covered by the green mesh (3M Safety Walk 1500).
Since the planting of vegetation in the parking lot was not possible, the facade replaces the green in analogy to a hedge. At the same time, the association to nature provides a positive atmosphere for visitors of the doctor’s office. The interior lights and the facade create a translucent wall during nighttime, which illuminates the parking lot.
