Perugino 42 is a collective housing project located opposite the Sunken Park in Mexico City. The building combines continuous spaces interior / exterior with a breathtaking view of a major city parks.
The initial idea was to subdivide the land into five linear sites. The aim was to maintain an inner connection outside, this was achieved by dividing the structure of the building into two separate volumes joined by glass bridges, creating a private covered but open at the center, allowing natural light to enter.
Each house was designed for a contemporary market “green”, providing a complex river system that captures rain and solar heat for its operation. The materials used for the building were mainly the concrete for the main structure and wood “balau” for facing facades.
