This project is located in a non-descriptor suburban area and fronts a major arterial street. It contains four main program requirements: corporate offices, research and development laboratories, manufacturing facilities and distribution center.

The main facade is comprised of two superimposed curved layers to give the structure a fluid, elegantappearance. As the outer layer peels away from themain building plane it forms a courtyard which leadsthe visitor to the building’s main entrance. The other three sides are less sculptural and more expressive of the utilitarian building program. Building materials are expressed in the simplest form and are enhanced byte strong contrast provided by shades and shadows which vary as the sun moves during the day. The building white color is used as a translucent skin veil which randomly reveals the raw concrete substrate,creating a dynamic composition on the building’sfaçades.

The exterior fluidity and elegance are seamlessly carried through the interior. Delicate curved forms absent of excessive ornamentation are washed with abundant natural light provided by the building’sperimeter fenestration as well as the strategically located roof light wells. Forms and spaces respond to their function and also create exiting new experiences as one moves through the building.
