Recently opened the new store optical Lisbon, Designed by architect Soussa Jorge Santos. The site was created to showcase the products of a display mode where the main protagonists are the glasses, noted for its color in a white environment of light and dark floor. Below are photographs taken by Joao Marga. Site design seeks to bring out products in a small place that is too large. For this we created a display device that extends along the walls. Each display module is related to the following sculptural form, generating a set of near and far.
The elements of the exhibition form a network of vertical and horizontal prisms built in MDF steel and Plexiglas. Each type of device has a different way of presenting the product. The vertical protruding from the wall, hold the glasses from his legs, however, devices that pierce the wall with horizontal stripes and vertical lens housed subjecting the classical way, from its nose. Other devices are horizontal surfaces where glasses can be deposited in different ways.
Devices, vertical and horizontal, or protruding into the wall, they generate a sense of unity in space, accompanied by a continuous dark wooden floor. Other elements such as the payment shit, space to store, inn consultations, etc. Follow the design line of devices. Thus the design unit is not disrupted. Perhaps what makes it interesting in this space is that despite the complexity of devices, products remain the main element.
