A great space defined by a communist apartment block, rigid, alienated, urban design of the 80, is in Romania, Bucharest. On the other side of the corridor is a sea of houses. A place full of very important people from streets that cross at a place called Plaza Muncie. The land to be developed is located in the center of this storm. The site is very small and hardly considered build able (impossible to build) because of the complexity caused by underground networks, nearby gas stations or even the access problem caused by the crowded street network.
Apparently a common letter, a common solution – an office tower for Blue house. The project includes traffic flows in the area, both as sidewalks and streets, which resulted in the building footprint on the ground.
In order to give personality to the building, the facade became the element that gives the volume pro-active. Furthermore, the alignment would be the attitude around – leading and completing the block.
The ground floor was designed to be open and transparent, with large glass surfaces to better integrate the building in the area and city life, and enhance the overall façade as a sculptural object in the city.
