The herbertarchitekten, German architecture office was responsible for the design of the new, larger headquarters online lighting store in Europe. The challenge was convert a building in an old school, built in the 1960 in a corporate office building. Due to the high demand for space, the original ceiling removed and a new level is built of wood, placed on top. The modern meets German standards for energy saving in buildings.

Within the formal order remained the stairs and hallways, classrooms, offices became older. Inside, there is a new steel staircase, made of natural stone of 8 cm thick, that separates the ground floor of the first floor. The stairs and windows covered in foil is illuminated with LEDs that change color. Both architects, as well as the client decided to create a modern, yet elegant feel on the inside, using materials such as black granite, combined with glass, white walls and ceilings.
