Office Building and Photographic Studio – Studio Rietti Smud & Assoc Architects

This building, a house edge built by our study in 2000, it complies with a system of courtyards, terraces and facades that are linked to each other.

His program is a professional studio on the ground floor, offices on the middle and a gallery of photographic production studio at its head. It does so in as low as possible, in order to preserve sunlight and vegetation of the neighboring house.

The longitudinal patio 2 meters wide between the wall and the dividing courtain allows the entry of the sun to the center of the plant, proposed to house a high quality facade in the foreground, and keeps unchanged the birth of the trunks of plant species that cover the existing party wall.

The office transparent body rises from the middle level of the dividing underground off, and ends in a double-height container coated white sheet that answers from their proportions to its materiality to a set of requirements from the production schedule and photo the permanent exhibition of an artistic relevance.

The facade facing the street, a priori conditional security is resolved with a mesh of prefabricated modules arranged in a continuous skin.
