Nursery La Cabaña – Lluís Sala + Sau Jordà d’Architecture Workshop

The approach to care is based on an area of ??land that has been separated from the urban park of the same name. This sector is chosen because it is slightly at a higher level compared with the rest of the park, and getting great views of its surroundings.

It calls for “shelling” the program into three intertwined: a space for classrooms, address spaces and services, and a multi-use space.

He makes much of the central multi-purpose space, as it will host allowing different uses (dining room, patio winter, local performances, etc). At the same time, acts as the distribution and reception hall / control of the entire system.

The cover of this space is fully oriented towards the south, to allow implementing a number of photovoltaic solar panels or in the future.
