The Miele house explores a discrete architecture, quiet but radical. It is a light box open to the public-Avenida Nueva Costanera and Bishop Sierra. Light, material and fundamental principal of the architecture is treated in this building as the main protagonist. The building allows maximum visibility of the exhibition halls from cars moving in both directions and pedestrian. The facade is expressed as a great showcase spaces transparent allowing one, two, three, even four heights.

The building is conceived as a large cabinet full of luz.Dentro this space the main character is a movie that shows all the routes through the showroom, offices, training rooms and circulation. This tape is red steel connector spaces but also is an envelope that enables the crossing that barrier revitalizing the image of Miele, both internally and externally. In the building are clearly differentiated the four main areas.

The idea of incorporating the first underground allows a front of 12 feet (8.5 m under the ground socket standard + 3.5 m). This lower level enables a clear space and quieter, as it has no direct relationship with the street. The relationship of this level it is given by a wooden walkway is installed between the glass facade and a slope of water that can sustain and to limit this space in the manner of an inclined mirror.

In the back of this level (-1) are located parking lots, warehouses and service. The first aim of the project is trying to reverse the connections that currently dominate the trade itself in Avenida Nueva Costanera. The barriers consist of planting trees and architecture that tends not to exist, unless part of the skyline, should become links that connect the building to its urban environment Miele immediately and the surrounding geography.
