Recycling and long-term friendly were the keywords for this project, a metal recycling plant, where they accumulate first, then separate the different metals and waste to prepare and they can be reused. The project consists of a huge production facility and two small buildings on the edge of it.

Generic base was divided, the multiple-use flexible and non flexible. In these terms, great concrete floor with the walls and the Service Building Annex define the core of production, however, can easily change program within the industrial zone. This much of the project required the careful placement of the plant in the environment, ensuring minimal movement of land and a concrete wall as low as possible.

Moreover, the small office 100% metal, acts as a very specific control deck, which oversees the weighing of incoming waste and metals coming out. This specification indicates it is not possible the entry of more amount of material.

In contrast to the harsh production is happening on the ground, what happens on the site has been incorporated in the abstract or rather “poetic” with the content of the project. The two buildings are the same volume, but in a quite different material: one is made of concrete, while the other is all steel. Thus, the two buildings speak about the context of the separation material of metal recycling plant.
