The architectural firm “Rockefeller Partners Architects” has designed a perfect luxury villa in Mandeville Canyon, a small community in the Brentwood neighborhood in Los Angeles, California. The owner of the villa is named Sky Dayton and works in the IT world. Over the past 10 years has founded EarthLink and Boingo Wireless . He and his wife have lived all these years in eight different houses. Always on the move where it was convenient for work, a typical U.S. lifestyle, but never find the perfect location to create a real home. Now they have two children and the need for a structure that could accommodate a space to work, decided to buy this piece of land and create this wonderful residence.
The villa has been built thanks to their experience with previous homes and property in rent. They succeeded, thanks to the architectural firm, to create a perfect home for its balance between form and function, artificial and natural light. Turned to Rockefeller Partners Architects after they discovered that three of your favorite homes in Los Angeles area were designed by the architect himself, did not hesitate to contact. The project has been shared between the owners and architects through a collection of photos and clippings of architectural elements that over time the family had kept Dayton.
