Loft of a Collector by Poteet Architects

Designed for an artist who is a great collector of art, this loft occupies the first two floors and the roof of a factory in 1920, in downtown San Antonio, Texas, USA. Both the old structure, and new procedures have been worked in white, emphasizing the contrast of the texture of the existing masonry, their new walls, floors, bright and lacquered cabinets. At the lowest level are the main spaces and skylights created by steel and glass structures that allow the entry of stray light in space. The upper level maintained as a large gallery. On its roof sits a beautiful garden on this one, where a rusted steel clad volume excels in height and is an excellent space for entertainment.
