Le Loft Des Innocents / Frédéric Flanquart

It started one night in September 2009, when all of us we settled there in the ceiling, or at least what was left of it. The building suffered a major fire last year. The scene was given. The prospect of this area quickly became a huge challenge: to design and achieve a coverage space as points of reference, only half-burned the stairs that lead to the lower level, a huge structure of scaffolding used as roofing and a 360-degree view over Paris.

The client wanted something new, ambitious and creative, seeking to turn the page after 10 years in the loft. Both concerns about the quality of implementation and distribution and final details, have led to a truly dutiful in this project. He did not forget even an inch, the goal was to devise an open and welcoming to both warehouse space as possible, while allowing a comfortable movement.

We arrived relatively quickly with the idea of ??a quiet and relaxing during the day, becoming a place of mystery and pleasure at night. The dream became reality 18 months later, on December 31, and turned the road course.

A place where filtered light, directed and designed the volume of the Shrew. Straight or angled, geometric random times, the lines work highlights every detail. The loft, a project full of emotions, combining complexity, simplicity and lightness.
