In the heat of Singapore, the idea of ??enjoying the shade of a tree is quite attractive. This large scale project generates a green space, an artificial forest, which rises 50 meters high and is built on a concrete, steel and wire rods.

This urban proposal is currently under construction in the neighborhood Marina Bay, South of Singapore. The idea is that these super-trees they become more dense over time, they start to grow their “branches”. The forest is formed is housed on a large public green space, part of an ambitious project at the country level, who wants to be the capital’s botanical world.

Once completed, the facility will enhance exhibits and vegetation samples from around the world, and the park will also become the seat of Singapore Garden Festival. Hanging gardens and rainwater collectors will be added to the structures, and a walkway 22 meters high, where visitors can enjoy a full view of the landscape.

The idea is to create a continuous ring of vegetation, through three large parks that involve the Marina area, home to the iconic hotel emplezan Marina Bay Sand, With its swimming pool suspended on its cover. It is planned to incorporate solar panels in addition to seven of the trees, the energy generated is used to illuminate the park under the “forest” created by man.
