The commissioning of this house was made by a couple and their child. The family wanted to have a house to serve as a central meeting point for friends and relatives. The property was meant to be, someday, the family home. The challenge was to design a project that had a large common area and simultaneously private spaces for users to serve as permanent and visitors.
Programmatically, the house was conceived in the first level, as a large open plan and permeable. The dining room, kitchen and living room, sharing the same rectangular space and glazing. The master bedroom is inserted into this space as another volume. Containing part of the services, a large rectangular block through the glass structure. The walls contain the kitchen, bathrooms, closets and even a sauna.
The second level of the house, is a volume of a more closed. Here are the rooms, their own bathrooms and a living room.
