House in La Encantada by Javier Artadi
The project consists of a single family house located in La Encantada, a suburb in the coastal city of Lima. Due to its suburban character, the design of the house comes the goal of finding the best ratio between build object and the inner garden of the property.
For this compact volume devised a two-stores container program (social, private area, services, etc.) Which is intersected by a plane bending.
This folding architecture aims to connect the front lawn of the house within the same space on a tour round spaces single and double height.
Thus, the simplicity of the master volume is altered – but also enriched – by a spatial that releases and connects to the green area around it.
