House GG by T Seven – Taller de Arquitectura
The commission consisted of doing the project for the realization of a house for a family of 4, which would be located in an area of 350 m square located south of the city of Monterrey in the top of a hill provides views both north and south of the city. Conceptually, the house was conceived as a structure on the ground, rather than as an actual building, where the spaces are given by horizontal and vertical planes that are supported freely on the structure, which consists of metal beams that crosses the next field to side and keep the full course. which allows the walls of the house can be modified so that the interior configuration of the house can be modified without great technical and cost impact.
The service areas of the house is located on the ground floor, which communicates with the street and the garage. social areas of the house are located on the second level, which is accessed via a staircase from the sidewalk. The bedroom area is located on the third floor of the house.
The linkages between these levels are treated by means of fixed glass provides extra illumination to the space, view of the mountains and visual and physical independence to each of the planes that make up the spaces of the project.
