This is space within a solid object, a block of black basalt that we make a number of insights as a quarry, mine tunnels and passageways that communicate with the outside, with the light of morning, noon and darkness of the night. An emotional concept, the cross-sectional view of the object indivisible. Dark skin, pale dermis. Contrast. Cuts and nicks, reinforcing the change of scale, working for the presence. Unitary object that proposes its maximum dimension.

The complexity of the site plays a favor: shut the outer perimeter, wall, stone, inside glass folds open. Cross the wall. It is the north side of the building and there is access: a natural light show, reflections, transparencies, explosion of images multiply.

Kaleidoscopic space, beauty, image observation. All the while, thanks to the effects produced crystals of different sizes and angles. Any impact on the building. Nature enters the interior through such cuts and segment the different rooms of the house. At dusk, transparency overrides limits: the projected light of day now, from inside the house to the outdoors.
