Hotels At The Strip (Las Vegas Boulevard)

The Las Vegas strip is legendary for its hotels. A hotel stay in Las Vegas is not like a hotel stay anywhere in the world. Each hotel is like its own separate amusement park, with its own unique attractions and amenities and won’t have a lot of time to play slots online. If you’re going to stay in Las Vegas, you’ll probably only get to stay in one hotel, although you can visit many more. Here are some choices to consider:

Las Vegas Strip Hotels: The Venetian

The Venetian hotel and casino, located on the property of the former Sands Hotel, is the largest five diamond resort in the United States. It has an incredible 4000+ suites and a staggering 120,000 square foot casino. The resort celebrates its tenth anniversary in 2009, and features a precious art collection, a lake for gondola rides as in Venice, Italy, and a large mall of stores known as the Grand Canal Shoppes. The Venetian has also featured the Blue Man Group and a version of Phantom of the Opera. The Venetian is also connected to the Palazzo, a 1.8 billion dollar resort with several high quality restaurants, over 3000 suites and two enormous villas.

Las Vegas Strip Hotels: The Mirage

The Mirage is one of the older of the modern Las Vegas hotels, having been built by casino mogul Steve Wynn in 1989. It has over 3000 rooms and was the most expensive hotel in history at the time of its construction. The Mirage is legendary in Las Vegas for a number of reasons. It was the first “superhotel,” designed with no expense spared to thrill visitors. It was the home of the famous Siegfried & Roy show until the attraction ended in 2003. It hosts Cirque du Soleil shows and has featured popular Las Vegas entertainers like Danny Gans. It was also one of the first casinos to have a full poker room, at a time when poker was much less popular as it is today and a losing proposition for casinos. Before the Bellagio opened with its lavish poker room, it was the most popular stomping ground for high stakes and professional poker players, and now, you can even play real money blackjack.
