The house located in a prime location within the city of Osaka, Abeno-ward district, 10 minutes from Tennoji Station. It is a traditional area, an old houses and shops, just one block from the main road. But the design had respond to a narrow area of ??56 m2. The starting point to create a bright and open, with an emphasis on programs related to the tastes of its residents. Its owners, the family K, a marriage with a daughter aged 27, fond of music and asked for a special room for your hobby: a mini studio and concert hall that could be used on other days as an art gallery or times as a night club. Then it ordered the “hobby room” (studio – gallery-bar) on the first floor, isolated from other facilities by the noise, also installing insulation systems on doors and vents. This first level constructed mainly of concrete. In the two upper floors tried to lower the total cost of the project with a simple design using wood as main material. Skylights were incorporated they give plenty of natural light to the next level.
