The primary intention in this project is that volumes, the first view, landscaping and location ensuring a natural approach and appropriation that causes constant use. The large scale of the environment led to propose elements in height and give presence to the Museum. The main volume contains L-shaped tower whose location is generated from an axis between the stadium and a statue of Juan Marichal. The statue itself serves as the radial point generator volumetric environment.
Child elements respond to successive scales approach to strengthen the intention of hosting / approach the building. The main entrance plaza turns into a side in which the flow of visitors who leave the stadium and the coliseum is concentrated in a major threshold that relates to the museum with the environment.
Thematic references occur throughout the building. The cylindrical tower baseball showcases popular phrases on the same material that covers it. The underground level outputs are glass boxes with colors and logos of different teams. Floor luminaires in the main square are abstractions of baseballs. The escort flight volume in the building is clad in marble Creole referring to the famous phrase, The Dominican Republic is the large pool of players. In the areas the program is intended to level underground parking and services.
The Museum is divided into six levels with a restaurant, auditorium, library and interactive electronic display area on the first level virtual batting cage in the second, Hall of Fame in the third, and various exhibition halls beginning their journey from the top to the ground floor.
