Located in one of the main entrances to the campus of the University of Australia, this new building brings together three previously separate schools, specializing in politics and international relations with a new design of the facility. A continuous plant internally in the upper levels outside the conventional or “institutional” paradigm-end corridors corridors. Offices that require a space of higher concentration at work, found on the perimeter, while the most active programs are located around the central atrium. Stairs and assets of the project programs reinforce the sense of community and sharing community.

The main public spaces are located on the first floor, extending the current continuing education facilities and urban areas throughout the campus. Externally the building is expressed as an object with rounded shapes and hexagonal marks in elevation. At a finer scale, elongated slots are cut in the flat facade distorting the nature of the walls.

This contradiction between the heroic and distorted is an attempt to represent the difficulty of reconciling the complexity of the idea and the reality of building a challenge for architects, students and for students of international relations.
