The site is located in the eastern town of Talavera de la Reina, near the access from Madrid and the Hospital Nuestra Señora del Prado, near the Vienna streets and Constitution Avenue. This is a growth area expansion in family dwellings and in height, somewhat chaotic.
The plot is part of a super block, has an area of 3,150 m2, being nearly flat. The ground has a very shallow water table, which has been taken into account when designing the proposal. The site has a transformer in the southeast corner, which determines access.
One side of the parcel adjacent to the street Vienna, the other three sides adjoining lots, one of which houses a Special Education Center. We must say first that this is the first Health Center Latex free of Castilla-La Mancha. Because the center only gives address this street, vehicular access provisioning, public emergency and arranged one after another.
It envisions a kind of square-yard within the plot that leads to the main entrance and to help us set up a space between two buildings in the center, giving the whole a more urban character. The main access and services are distributed in groups near the core of vertical communications.
The program is resolved with three bodies parallel north-south orientation, alternating with patios. The courtyards help us to improve the hygrothermal behavior of the building, and that through them we can get natural light and can be used as cooling elements for much of the building.
The building clearly distinguish two volumes, a higher U-shaped open patio around which you expect from center opened itself and another one-story pavilion attached to the first with a private porch where you have emergencies.
