Speaking of Velez-Rubio is inevitable to refer to the great weight that the landscape has on this population. From Murcia-Granada highway, the town appears crouched on the slopes of Maimon, as a child protected by his mother at the immensity of this great territory of the Sierra de María, in permanent dialogue with the top counterpart La Muela.
