As first place winners in the contest of the Gate of Hangzhou, JDS Architects unveiled its concept for the building, which is to create a door is not closed or dividing the city. The 15-storey tower including offices, restaurants, post office, a green roof terraces and buried a passage that leads through a mall.
The roof terraces offer generous views of the distant nature, as rock blinds deliver a sustainable solution to the offices.
The building will become the gateway for Gongshu district and an icon for the urban transformation of old industrial district.
