Frame Bar is the main bar St George Lycabettus Hotel in Kolonaki, Athens. The main design objective was recreate the usual types of chairs, stools, bar tables and coffee tables using forms that are transformed from one geometry to another, Thus denying default associations of certain activities.
This was achieved by using advanced parametric design techniques which led to the specification of a series of polyethylene surfaces constructed from the deformation of the material with heat.
The geometric continuity is preserved by design, offering a continuous internal topography assuming different geometrical specifications on certain programmatic intentions.
