The project was designed by David Guerra (architecture and interior), in a condominium near Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil, for a couple with one child. The total construction area is 500 m² and 22,000 m² site area. The house in the native forest and nature combined with contemporary vision. The furniture includes classic designs and current designs to create a snugness.
The living room, dining room, terraces, swimming pool, sauna, and the landscape is developed around the kitchen is the center of the house. All the spaces together, work as a great area for socializing. On the first floor there is also an area with two rooms and a closet. The master suite has an office, closet, bathroom and terrace, with privacy on the second floor. The Department of guests, with bedroom, bathroom and living room has a separate entrance. The house also has a cellar acclimated, a garage, laundry and utility room.
Another important aspect is the color of the house, the vibrant red contrasts with the green of the forests. The wood of the structure, floor, roof, windows, doors and furniture, were made by a carpenter who worked with Zanine Caldas, (a famous carpenter in Brazil). The large glass wall allows the landscape becomes a stage for the house. The roof is notable for its high levels and design. The architect not only designed the house, but also the design of interiors and furniture.
