FLOW by APOLLO Architects & Associates
Located in a new residential area which tends rather to the lack of planning and architectural character, the house designed by FLOW Apollo Architects Becomes a little gem that combines the cement, wood and glass. The owner wanted a garage for two cars, an area in which the family could relax and allow the passage of light and air and at the same time, they provide privacy. Outside, the sloping roof of concrete and wood hangs over all who pass through the entrance. The balance between the main building and the inverted trapezoidal garage with a roof rack has also been carefully planned. The lack of environmental stimuli makes the house is closed to the outside world to enhance the inner spaces.
On the ground floor rooms have been located for all members of the family and the dog, which are connected with a terrace. One of the main features of the house is the misalignment between the private level and first floor, reserved for the living room, kitchen, bathroom and a terrace from which you access the roof. In addition, this first level is designed so that their stays are connected in series to maintain a pleasant distance.
The layout of the terrace in diagonal, which corresponds with the facade that flies over the entrance, not only effective by making the interior seem more spacious and let in more light while giving complete privacy to the occupants, but also lets enjoy sky views.
The kitchen equipment and refrigerator are inserted into the walls, so that the area loses the appearance of kitchen. The areas that require water, such as the kitchen and bathrooms, are grouped into a subdivision space by a wall of glass makes the room look more spacious.
