Flake House is a nomadic shelter, designed to be located anywhere. It is a poetic shelter, a “folie” that combines technology with more rustic materials. The interior is plain and simple, to contrast with the external trunk liner.
Designed in 2006 for the contest “Petites machines à habiterOrganized by 72 CAUEThe proposed office Olgga is based on the concept of “folie”, where the wooden frame is broken into two halves to establish a radical spatial limit, materializing an unexpected input sequence.

Some years after the contest, the house was installed in Nantes, France, from 5 June to 16 August 2009 at the Festival Estuaire Nantes / St. Nazaire, organized by Le Lieu Unique.
