The 1100 sq . ft . attic is found on the second floor of the turn from the last century light industrial attic building in Manhattan’s Flower District. The mattress room needed privacy in the relaxation from the attic. It had been created like a sleeping cabin, having a large floor to ceiling walnut closets dividing it in the living area. The wall of storage provided a quiet sleeping space and blackout shades behind the curtains made certain an undisturbed sleeping atmosphere.
Additional storage was supplied by a sizable walk in closet close to the door, this together with a current surefire column defines the doorway part of the attic.
