The project for DTAC, one of the leading telecommunications providers in Thailand, sought to organize the space so that it could accommodate 3,500 staff. The edicicio 20 stories and 62,000 m2, a design should incorporate the philosophy “play and learn.” The program will include work spaces and recreational spaces. The large building is organized by generating a central block of circulations and services, and less distinct program blocks, creating flexibility in the use of space, one of the requirements set by the client.
Each space is defined differently. The design surprises the user with various shapes and materials. The interesting thing is how in a single plant can be achieved by using various resources such as panels, double-skin spaces, glass windows, shutters and level changes, living places of very different character. Some of the programs are: offices, meeting rooms, reading areas, small rooms and spaces for recreation and sport.
The main material used is wood. Appears with greater or lesser presence in different places, giving a unity to the varied compositional design. The colors are mostly shades of gray. The variety of programs and how each one appears, this character building is quite fun.
