With the launch of its new line of melamine, Arauco Sustainable Solutions has invited five offices in Chile emerging architects to design a work space designed as a connecting carrier. An opportunity for reflection from a creative platform for the contemporary lifestyle, working from multi-network that decentralize work activities operating at a distance, while stressing the use of technological systems in the production of these. Each office is composed of architects invited sub_35 years training in different universities and regions, defining a variety of design. More than a prototype, carriers Connection put on the table a cross between work and leisure, both situations that are no longer governed by a set time and place, typical of the industrial revolution, but rather by a collapse of both in our daily lives. The various proposals were built by their creators 1:1 scale. The call, the choice of architectural offices and assembly design gallery access to Hilaman beams was conceived, produced and performed by ConstructCultural association of architects led by Jeannette Plaut and Marcelo Sarovic. His main areas of development are associated Construct cultural management and editorial space which includes research, publications, seminars, exhibitions curatorial and development of national and international architecture, design and art.

Sub_35 architects invited were:

* Valenzuela & Murua Arquitectos

With a restriction in the amount of melamine plates, plus the addition of a small percentage of other materials produced by Arauco and delivery of an amount of money to develop and build the model, the variables explore proposed designs for deployment, movement and expression material, each targeting a different logic of occupation.

A jury of architects: Martin Hurtado, Albert Tidy, Jeannette Plaut, Marcelo and Pablo Marina Sarovic (Arauco) chose the proposal Bosch Lyon Architects as the winner, who received a prize of $ 1,500,000.
