Three courtyards are an integral part of the interior architecture of the building, providing contemplative space for the faithful and the community. The materials chosen – zinc, stone and wood – work effectively in their capacity as public building.

We applied a consistent and exemplary approach to achieve sustainable results from the use of materials and efficient, low impact, in addition to water collection systems rain. The project highlights how sustainability can be expressed without an aesthetic “eco” explicit, promoting a deeper notion of “social sustainability”, related to different cultures and beliefs.

The courtyards are very well integrated, providing quiet spaces of different quality and space, playing with the intensity of light and dimensions. From them you can admire the local landscape from a distance.

These interiors are interconnected and despite this, the three-dimensional shape of the building creates an intimate scale that gives way to private places for reflection and meditation.
