Pimenta CEU is located in Guarulhos, in the district of Pimento, a place with some community facilities aimed at education, leisure and sport. The project is set in a line, materialized in a large metal roof which includes in its different uses longitudinal borders, as articulated by a vacuum that culminates in a central area dedicated to the achievement of sports. The aquatic complex is out of this axis in the outer area. The flat topography and the linear configuration were critical to the overall game architecture.
The various uses are divided into blocks of concrete cast in situ and precast concrete. Library, classrooms and cafeteria are located on the west side of the shaft. On the opposite side, are the volumes of the classroom, gymnastics, dance and concert halls.
The central vacuum is a square. Without a previously defined program is built around the programs, through the suggested routes and bridges on the first floor, allows different applications throughout their seats and open spaces. The colors chosen for interior walls (yellow and green) contribute to the diversity and recreational atmosphere of the inner square.
