The project is located on the edge of a typical urban park in San Isidro. The competition program includes the design of three typical apartments and a penthouse duplex.
However, due to the urban parameters that prevented use the roof, we decided to make a “house in the park, half buried in relation to the street, gaining 4 departments on the house.
The house in the park has its own garden, is on two levels and has a large art gallery in double height. From here the view extends across the garden toward the treetops of the park, negating the feeling of being under the street level.
The single-level departments concentrate their bedroom into the street, windows protected by isolated spot, while the social area opens onto the landscape of the park.
The ability to move around the vertical circulation core allows great freedom in the use of space, keeping a clear separation between the social areas, bedrooms and service area.
The facade facing the park entrance ticket is equipped with umbrellas screenprinted tempered glass, which allows departments to protect the setting sun and the view of neighboring properties without losing light and transparency to the park.
