The project, conducted by Vitalich Stephen Architects in Venice, California, USA consists of 4 houses as a loft, developed as a subdivision of small lots. Each unit is part of a whole composition, creating the idea of a single block. The materials used are wood, stone and steel. Each character gives a clean and modern space.
The volume of housing is divided into three levels. The first floor is for the kitchen, dining room, a small living room, wine cellar and laundry. The long space is opened by two of their faces, into a small stone patio. The site keeps good lighting and ventilation, which in turn generates a feeling of spaciousness.
The living area is double height and is connected with a staircase to the second level. This one floor houses the most intimate spaces of the house, two small bedrooms, a bathroom, a small office / study and master bedroom. All spaces are connected through a passageway is illuminated by a long skylight. Each home is finished off in their final level by a large open air terrace that can be heated by a fireplace.
