We began our work with a survey of more than 80 people confirmed what we anticipated intuitively. While more than 98 % of respondents see reading as an activity practiced with any regularity, only 12 % have visited a library at least once in the past year. The causes of this phenomenon are many and their complexity is extensive but the important thing is that this data lies the challenge that this project entails: How to reverse the phenomenon that affects most public libraries that is gradually losing influence and appeal of the community goes beyond the arguably laudable its purpose?
