The new college campus in Warrnambool, Australia, has been studied carefully by the architects of the Lyons study to show not only a contemporary character, but also innovative solutions from ecological and functional.
The main facade of this campus that will house student housing, classrooms and conference rooms, consists of hexagonal windows tilted toward the street, smiling to the concept of the wall that is shaded by itself to facilitate cooling.
The windows have steel and zinc, for sun protection and to facilitate natural ventilation.
Aesthetically, the interior and exterior are a continuum, in which geometric shapes and colors chase one another to create a young and dynamic space.
